1. Royale Toilet Paper
Since 1969, the Royale Toilet Paper company of Canada (based out of New Brunswick) has been stressing the softness of their TP by deploying images of white juvenile felines.
After three decades of conditioning, I realize that I am gripped by a compulsion to wipe my ass with a kitten.
There is no reason why ethnographers of the future will not conclude that all Canadians have indulged in a kitten-wipe at some point in their lives. It's as Canadian as the beaver.
